The Ellipse Pendant features California Abalone set within a smooth oval of 14k yellow gold or sterling silver. Each abalone shell is hand-cut and polished, allowing its organic matrix and shifting hue to become the focus.

Refined in shape and proportion, this abalone inlay pendant captures the understated beauty of contrast. Handcrafted from recycled metals, this minimalist pendant is a daily reminder of stillness and continuity, to be worn alone or as a timeless addition to a collection.

Inlay gemstones are cut in NY and set in 100% recycled 14k gold or silver that is certified as a responsible source by SCS Global Services.

California abalone is known for its vibrant iridescence and naturally occurring shades of blue, green, and violet. The abalone used in this design comes from naturally weathered shell fragments from Arena Cove in Northern California. Rather than sourcing newly harvested shell, we repurpose these existing fragments, giving new life to a beautiful natural material.

We purchased this Rolo chain from a business located in the US. While much of the metal in their products is recycled, they are unable to certify their materials as 100% recycled. While this is one link in our supply chain that needs improvement, we are also proud to support a US business and believe that our support will only help them achieve sustainable milestones.
